Hankuri Phillips is tapped by the ruling party to run for governor of Ondo State. The opposition, desperate for a credible candidate, recruits her husband Dimeji. What begins as a calculated political arrangement spirals into something neither anticipated: genuine rivalry, public humiliation, assassination attempts, and a marriage tested by ambition, loyalty, and the brutal machinery of Nigerian politics.
