In October 2012, four University of Port Harcourt students went to collect a debt from a classmate. A false accusation of theft followed. A mob gathered. By the end of the day, all four were dead. Based on the true story of the Aluu Four killings, Dark October follows the boys in the days before their deaths: their music, their friendships, their plans for the future, and the chain of ordinary decisions that led them to the wrong place at the wrong time.
